Surrounded by the impressive mountains of the Hohe Tauern, this newly opened, family-run spa hotel is located in the heart of Bad Hofgastein. Hotel Astoria offers bright and comfortable rooms with a balcony and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms feature a pool bag for the duration of your stay, filled with a bathrobe, sauna towels, and bathing shoes. The restaurant serves light Austrian cuisine with many regional and organic products. Half-board is offered at an additional cost and comprises, in addition to the breakfast buffet, an afternoon snack and a tasty dinner. Enjoy the power of the mountains in the 1,200 m² spa area, which features a thermal pool, a glass pavilion with a Jacuzzi, and a sauna area with a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, and a diving pool. The Medical Center offers many wellness and beauty treatments, as well as classic massages, always using natural products from the Alps. Health treatments and therapies with the hotel’s own thermal water and under the supervision of the hotel’s private doctor are also possible. Newly opened in February 2009, the 4-star apartment hotel Arkadia offers spacious holiday apartments with all modern comfort in the heart of the Gastein Valley. Built in a traditional style with lots of wood and wooden balconies, the building features a lounge with open fireplace as well as a sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation zone. These can be used by all guests free of charge. The apartments are up to 77 m² in site and are very comfortably furnished. They offer balconies with fantastic views of the mountains. Arkadia enjoys a central yet very quiet location close to the ski lift, less than 100 metres away from the stop of Bad Hofgastein's city bus and the free ski bus.

This friendly, family-run bed and breakfast is located in the heart of Bad Hofgastein, only a 5-minute walk from the centre and the Alpentherme spa centre. Pension Angerer offers comfortable and cosy rooms and apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms. All rooms have furnished balconies with mountain views. There is a common lounge with a plasma TV, a DVD player and a hi-fi system. A free car park is located in front of the 3-storey building. The ski lift is only a 3-minute walk away from Pension Angerer. From the bus stop next to the lift you can quickly reach all ski resorts in the Gastein Valley. On request tandem parachuting, white water rafting and guided trekking tours can be organized (trekking is subject to 4 weeks notice). The owners have worked at some of the best hotels in Austria and England, and speak English, German, Russian and Latvian.

Many restaurants and shops can be found in the immediate vicinity of the Parkvilla Appertements. You can park your car for free on site.
